You will receive an application number and confirmation email upon completing this application form. Please keep this safe, we will use this to contact you about the application if needed. We will also ask you to verify your email address or mobile number upon submitting your application, please keep an eye out for this verification. We will aim to make a decision within 20 working days of the scheme closing date of 31 July 2022. If you qualify you will get a revised bill.

You should continue with your payments until any award is confirmed.

Any award will first be offset against any arrears in 2021/2022. Then it will be offset against any previous arrears. If there is still a remaining amount it will be credited to your 2022/2023 account and your repayments adjusted accordingly.

The award of this relief will not reset or delay any ongoing recovery process if arrears remain after the award is credited to your account.

If you are not eligible, we will email you with a reason for your application refusal.

You are not able to save and return to this application form, and it will timeout after 30 minutes, so please be prepared to provide the information below before starting your application.

Before you start

You will need to tell us:

  • • Your Business Rates account reference number (8 digits long and beginning with a 4), it can be found on your most recent Business Rates/NNDR bill from the council. Any business rate correspondence issued after February 2018 will show this reference;
  • • Details about you as the applicant;
  • • What type of business you run
  • • How your business has been effected by Covid-19

Please take your time to ensure that you are answering the questions fully and correctly, it is a criminal offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement to obtain grant funding.
