To be eligible for this scheme, you must:
- have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) between D-G or no existing certificate
- have lived in a privately owned property (owner occupied or rented) for a minimum of 6 months
and meet at least 1 of the following criteria:
- have a household annual gross income below £36,000 and assets of no more the £50,000 excluding the value of your home
- a member of your household is in receipt of a qualifying means tested benefit(s)
- live in a qualifying postcode area of Barrow-in-Furness
When you submit your application, you must provide proof of the above.
At this time there are no schemes for gas boiler upgrades.
